23/7 Arrived in Salzburg at 12.30pm today. As soon as I walked in I bumped into 2 people I knew a guy from Brugge and a girl I met in Berlin. This keeps happening all the time I think I wont see these people again and then randomly down the track we catch up in another country it is so much fun. I walked around the Old town which is very quaint and pretty. I did a little shopping and went into the Dom a cathedral and had a walk along the river. 24/7 EAGLE'S NEST. 20/7 Travel day to Vienna 21/7 Today is my only opportunity to see the whole city of Vienna as I only have 2 days here and tomorrow I am doing a Grape Grazing Tour all day. But I soon found out today that the city is very small and one day is plenty of time to see this pretty city. First I went to the Schloss Schonbrunn (the Royal Palace), the palace grounds are beautiful, ther is even a zoo here. It was really calming and relaxing wandering around the gardens, would have liked more time here. I then caught the [View Full Entry]

17/7 On the way to Prague we stopped at Terrazin Concentration Camp, it was a very rushed tour but really good, much better than Sachenhausen. Arrived in Prague at 5pm. After having some dinner at the hostel restaruant I used the internet, then went to bed early as the hostel is a little way out of the actual city centre, so will have to go exploring tomorrow. Plan to go out early so I can see a few things before going on the walking tour at 12.30pm. 18/7 I walked around the old city this morning, and went into some of [View Full Entry]

10/7 Travel day to Switzerland. We arrived at Interlaken train station at 4.30pm where Megs friend Lisa picked us up and took us to the Valley Hostel. Well I am in love with Switzerland already it is beautiful. The mountains are just breathtaking. After checking in Megs and I went for a walk up to the waterfall which you climb right up underneath it was such a beautiful view, if only my knees would co-operate with all this walking. After the waterfall we met Lisa for dinner I had chicken with risotto and it was absolutely delicious, the food is so [View Full Entry]

28/6 Today Tim, Alex and I made our way to Ieper (Ypres) to see the Menin Gate and the other WW1 memorials that are there, we had hoped to do a bus tour but they weren't running them this weekend because of a car rally. Walking to the train station I was almost run down 3 times by mopeds on a bike/walk path, aparently thats the done thing. This town my seem a little sleepy but boy can it be dangerous. We arrived in Iepes about 2.30pm after a 2 and a half hour train journey. As we got into the [View Full Entry]

Well I arrived safely in London on the 19th of June at 6.40pm. I am staying with Flo and Mark in Dorking. Dorking is such a beautiful place. On the 20th I ventured into London on my own. I got off the train at Victoria station and had a nice day wandering around, I went to Buckingham palace, the Queen happened to be home, but there was no invite to come in for tea, how rude. London is awesome I love it, I am having such a wonderful time. I have found one downside to travelling on your own, no pictures [View Full Entry]

I arrived at Singapore Airport at 6.20am this morning and I have made my way from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3 - having used the Skytrain on which I had my first view of Singapore - it looks like such a beautiful place definately going to have to come back for a visit I think. Apparently it is a balmy 38 degrees outside but I am in the air conditioned airport so wouldn't know. The flight from Perth was good. The take off was beautiful to see all the lights, no wonder Perth is called the City of Lights. I had [View Full Entry]
