Since the Amazon is so amazing we decided to give you both of our accounts...... Bridge´s up first.... Well, after leaving the salt plains, we headed to La Paz and then up to Rurrenbaque to go to THE AMAZON!!!!! After our 20 hour journey from hell on a chicken bus with fridges, luggage and washing machines strapped to the roof we made it to the tropical landscape of the Amazon! Bula Bula!! Fiji mainly involved lying on the beach, playing drinking games which always ended in ultimate carnage (the game not us!), befriending dogs (Meme) and being hungry (pretty stingy with their portions!). We flew into Nadi, and caught the first Awesome Adventures boat to Beachcomber-an island of drunken fun...and sleeping in a 150 bed dorm...mental oriental!! Coconut bay was next where we learn´t the Bula dance, weaved bracelets and tried the local cava. Hiyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, After Indonesia, we had a quick 2 day pit stop in KL where we met up with Dzae again. Were greeted by the family with a MASSIVE BBQ which was lush...salad with feta and roasted vegetables...first time in 3 months! We also had speciality beer chicken where the chicken was cooked with beer stuck up it's arse!! Did a massive load of laundry (you wouldn't believe how much our damp clothes and bags smelt!!). Hi all! A bit behind with the travel blogs, as you can see from the date that this was published we are doing a bunch all in Singaopore. But from Indonesia here we go.......................... Indonesia was brilliant! The journey was eventful to say the least, ferry crossing from Melaka in Malaysia was fine until we got off........where Meme got her bag searched for smuggling tampons! Hello everyone! We have made it safely to Indonesia! Just a quick up date for you all about Malaysia........ Flew into KL and headed straight for the jungle, Taman Negara where we did a night jungle walk and saw vipers, stick insects and MASSIVE spiders! We also did a rapid shooting which was basically a boat ride where we went through rapids and got soaked! Hi all, Just a quick message to say we arrived safe and sound in Malayisia, KL, although a little wet (bloody pissed it down when we got off the coach!!!) Have just been up the Menara Tower which is the 4th tallest tower in the world, and the lift that took us up travelled at 22km/hour and took 58 seconds!!(we timed it!!). It was amazing at the top, although Meme was a little scared being that high up! Hi all! Ko Phi Phi is amazing! We have been ravin it up at the Hippy Bar for the last 3 nights........never want to drink a Thai bucket again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Despite all the alcohol, we still managed to go snorkelling around Phi Phi for the day on a long boat. It was so much fun....best of all we found Nemo yay!! (although he was alittle black-not completely orange....maybe he started smoking?!!)
