This blog is our path for the last 18 months...

This is the story of Leslie moving to Shanghai...and of both of us...getting on the road....wherever and whenever we can....and since 1st of April,
the path has become the one of Leslie, Ma'ri and myself...

I grasp the chance we have, full time family, full time surrounded by great friends...and all over the world all the time. Not easy not to be pretentious...so let me say I'm simply thankful for life. Simple rule, don't pretend, because you get what you work for!

All these entries belong to the last few months, over the next few months...a lot more of new adventures! Can't wait to hit the road...in style...with love!

And a small note regarding the current situation...it's in difficult time that you can build great mind and souvenirs...it's not anymore about work hard...play hard, it's about work efficiently...and share with your love ones the exceptional!

Little Cirque du Soleil stop-over in Macau

My last visit to Macau was a great week-end back in December 2002...long time a go, a week-end spent eating, partying and playing golf. This visit was a little different....as you don't party the same way when you are travelling with an 8 years old kid! I'm 35th today...not even a grown up...but I do enjoy it!

This is it...I'm 35!

This is my first entry about Vietnam. I've lived in Saigon from 1996 to 2000 and still spend a lot of time here every month. So why an entry now...simple, it's my 35th birthday. Dubai....countryside....

Sand safari in Dubai

Last week was fun in Dubai...today was "country side" Dubai. This is one of my favorite sunset on earth, and I truly wanted to share it to Ma'ri. So after a short 4 hours flight, a very short night...a little nap in our hotel, we got a pick up for our safari Dubai. Not that many pictures, but an afternoon and evening of fun! As you read this, we should be on our way back to Shanghai...or already in Shanghai. Back to some reality, and to the stressful world. But before this, here are 3 more days of wonderful happiness. After the Banyan Tree on Mahe, we made our way to the Lemuria Resort on Praslin Island...you can get there by helicopter, flight or boat...we took the slow way, with the fast boat. The Lemuria has two very attractive point...the first, it is a member of Relais & Chateaux...which means we should eat pretty well. The second is a very nice and wellknown golf course. The last few weeks have seen a lot of stress...and a lot more stress is going to come in the next few weeks. So this little break, planed months ago is a true welcome. Lagen, El Nido, few more days in paradise....

Bacuit Bay around sunset time...euh...bubbles time...

I'm used to do only one entry per place...and Miniloc is just 30 minutes by boat to Lagen Island. A fun transfer, as you put your swim suit one, and let the staff take care of everything else. 30 minutes...plus the sighting of dolphins, sorry, they were just a little too far away for great pics. A first sighting for Ma'ri...and the comment of Leslie...well... guess...Papa, they were a lot more in Maldives last year...spoiled kid! Lagen is supposed to be more luxury than Miniloc. Kayak in the Small lagoon...

It's October holidays in China. The all country closes for the full week, so we are off to paradise. West Lake, so hot...so so great weekend!

I know it's not October holidays yet, but here is a wonderful week-end in China. Leslie didn't have school on Friday, so we decided to do a little getaway trip. Since the 1st of April 2008, my life...and the one of Leslie have changed since we met Ma'ri...nearly already 6 months.
