Hiya everyone, Tue 9th Nov Up at 4.15am to make our way to Cairns airport to fly back to Sydney. We manage to make it to the airport with plenty of time to spare (you only need to be there an hour before) i very nearly left my swiss army knife in my handluggage, how stupid am I. We didn't have to wait long for the plane and we were soon boarded and on our way. I think the flight took about 2hrs 30min im not too sure because the time is different in Sydney to Cairns and i got confused [View Full Entry]

Hiya everyone, Sun 7th Nov At last we finally reach Cairns which is in the north part of Queensland. This will be our last stop before flying back to Sydney. We find a hostel for $14 a night so very cheap but why this one won us over was because we could have a free dinner at a busy pub in town evrynight we stayed. I was plesantly suprised by Cairns because i feared it would be like Brisbane where i didn't like but thankfully it was far from it. The hostel is ok but what do you expect for the [View Full Entry]

Hey peeps guess who?? Fri 5th Nov Happy Bonfire Night! I completely forgot it was Bonfire night until somebody said something about fireworks and then i thought what the hell are they having fireworks for but eventually it occured to me, i think what it is is that it should be cold and raining when it is bonfire night so i kind of got a bit confused (i think that is a valid excuse don't you?). We had another lazy day today, we had a nosy around the shops and a dip in the lagoon with a spot of sunbathing. We [View Full Entry]

Tue 26th Oct The title will be explained all in time ok :0) Another glorious day and we set off for Port Macquarie. This is just a day pitstop so no plans to book in to a hostel (1st big mistake). The plan is to stash our stuff in a locker at the bus station or train station (2nd mistake) we arrive and the lockers don't have keys and the bus station don't have them either ??? (whats the logic in that i ask myself). Me and Roo trudge about the place looking for a hostel to stash our stuff in [View Full Entry]

Mon 25th Oct Up early to spend a full day in Newcastle. It is only 9am and the sun is blazing and it is already really hot - will definatly need the lotion today (slight mix up with the lotion mom cus for some reason i have factor 8???). We take a stroll into the town centre, it is quiet and a sweet little place. We find the local beach which is an absolute picture. We set up camp on the beach for a while, the sand is so white i have never seen anything like it. Had a little paddle [View Full Entry]

Oh dear!!!

Oceania » Australia » New South Wales » Sydney
Sat 23rd Oct Hey my litle sweet peas me again. After the previous nights adventure we had a bit of a late start at 1pm and that was only because the cleaner woke us up. Feeling a bit iffy and a tad tired so decided to take Rosy for a walk through Hyde Park and the Botanical Gardens to show her the fruit bats (she is a bit mad about them). Thought the fesh air would do me good and it did until i saw a beautiful wedding being performed in the park which made me feel like an old spintster, [View Full Entry]

19th October 04 Well Guys, G'day. I finally arrived in Aussie land into Sydney airport at 8.30am after an 8 hour flight. The flight went amazingly quick because me and Alex (the lad i sat next to on the plane) were a bit bored and could'nt sleep so we decided to hit the FREE wine to entertain ourselves with. We were even told that we could'nt have any more because we had drunk it all ( i think she was lying to try and shut us up). We arrived at our hostel in central Sydney where we were dragged off for [View Full Entry]
