Travelling Europe by Truck

Would you travel by truck?

Hi Travellers!

I am Lilly from berlin and i am looking forward to travel through europe for about 3 or 6 month. And of course it should be favourable.

I´ve heard about a company, which offers cheap tours through europe by using trucks. Did every one of you ever heard about that company? Would you travel by trucks and would you trust an trucker guy? :O)
Would you prefer travelling by the trucks or by train? What are you thinking?

Hello Lilly :)

I used to do a lot of hitchhiking. Despite the pictures of naked women and porn in their trucks the truck guys were very very nice. They genuinely just wanted somebody to talk with so they would stay awake. They have to drive for unreasonably long periods.
On the otherhand there were many sales men who used to pick me up when I was hitchhiking. Not all but many of them were sleezy. I dont know if many are dangerous but they were not pleasant.

I dont think truck drivers are allowed to pick up hitchhikers anymore. I heard their companies have told them not to.
